As a highly competitive swimmer from age 7, Renée dealt with a multitude of injuries and therapies, which fuelled her interest in the physiotherapy profession. She began with a Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Calgary in Canada and followed on with the innovative Doctor of Physiotherapy program at Bond University here on the Gold Coast. Her research study on treatment of acute neck pain yielded statistically significant results and she graduated with High Distinction.
She later discovered yoga, which has been an incredible addition to her personal and professional life, as she has always been highly drawn to the mind-body connection and holistic health. Strength training has alway been a staple in her life, which has tremendously helped herself and her patients recover and prevent further injuries. As a lifelong athlete and firm believer in functional exercise for rehabilitation and prevention of injuries, as well as overall wellness, she thoroughly enjoys sharing the benefits!
Renée’s genuine passion for helping others achieve wellness shines through, and she endeavours to deliver exceptional treatment and care to every patient.
"I am passionate about creating positive change and wellness through hands-on holistic treatment, education, and empowering exercise."
